YorMed is able to provide a range of resources to assist emergency services in delivering their primary functions effectively.
The services we can provide to NHS Ambulance Trusts include double crewed ambulances to assist with meeting stringent government targets. Crews can range from A&E support staff through to emergency paramedic practitioners. We can also assist with the provision of Cycle Response Units in urban areas.
The above examples can be for peak periods of the week or to cover gaps in normal service provision. For the policing sector, our staff can work alongside Police Officers / Community Support Staff to deal with alcohol related injuries.
These services can be delivered in a variety of ways, from mobile units in city centres to staff on targeted foot patrols on known hot spots. These all help to support local policing objectives and assist with tactical and strategic aims of neighbourhood policing.
